97 Jeep GC Laredo idling problem?

Have you looked for any vacuum leaks? It is possible that the engine is pulling in extra air, the O2 sensor senses it in the exhaust and the computer compensates for it with extra fuel raising the idle. You might check all gasketed surfaces around the intake manifold. Spray carb cleaner around those areas and see if it affects the idle.
