Say you were a midget and you got eaten by a hippo?

.. but not chewed as in, you were swallowed hole, do you die instantly from suffocation, or do you get digested (that would take time though) or can you get out somehow by like punching the hippo inside. Sounds a bit mental but surely you could survive long enough for someone to help you / get out yourself.
