If Obama cared. Would he throw such a bash?

You know I'm NOT an Obama fan, but this weird idea that to not throw a party because the economy is bad is misguided and just plain weird thinking. First it doesn't make an iota of difference in the bad economy whether he parties or not. And second, look at all the "little people" who are getting jobs as a result of the parties... caterers, hotels, taxi drivers, restaurants, sanitation workers, street vendors, etc. If it wasn't for this big bash, they wouldn't get paid (or get overtime).
