Does this seem like a fair trade?

As it turns out, the used saddle that I rescued doesn't fit my horse (I'm still happy that I did tho... I'd rather be giving it to a loving home than letting it collect dust in someone's collection). I also still have the gently used rubber tall boots and used helmet. I know of a very fair man who owns a tack shop (sells loads of western saddles, new and used!) I was thinking of giving him the saddle (includes new wool cinch and new nylon straps), the boots, and the helmet... in return I'd get a new hunter/jumper bridle and a happymouth bit. Does this seem fair? At most, I'd say the saddle is worth $200, the boots are worth $10-15, and the helmet $5. I don't want to seem like I'm taking advantage of him! Thanks :)
